The Kimberley- Kununarra (Western Austrailia)

The bus journey was a nightmare, was cramped up, boiling and got hardly any sleep..apart from that it was ok ha ha!!! Also on our journey we passed Wolfe Creek, wasnt really an option to stop off there after Jack watched the film!
We are staying in yet again another really nice campsite, a little busier than the others, but its mostly full of travellers who are working out here doing fruit picking or farm work!
After pitching up and getting sorted we had a walk round the town and decided to have a walk to Lily Creek Lagoon, which has a celebrity tree park, Paul was the first to spot Rolf harris's tree!!!
Early start today, decided to have a walk to Mirima National Park which is 2km out of town! The park is really nice its got lots of steep gorges, some great view spots and is a massive area of rugged sedimentary formations. We did all the walking trails that were on offer and learnt a lot on the way round regarding the different trees that was in the park and what the aboriginal use for them was and also the wildlife that was inhabited in the park! We then had a walk to Kellys Knob lookout, which also had great views we sat and had a little picnic there!
We leave tomorrow and head for the Northern Territory, Katherine!
