Koh Phangan

Got the ferry at 0930 like we had arranged, 1hr later omg thought i would be ok with only 1hr travel, how wrong was i...i litterally could not move my head from the seat i was in because i just knew that i would up chuck at any point..that 1hr felt like an eternity!
Finally got off the catermaran and found our lift that was waiting for us to take us to the pre-booked resort...arrived and it was just gorgeous we are staying in a part of the island called Maehaad. It was like a desserted island..absolutely nothing here excpet a handful of people and a handful of beach bungalows...no atm..no seven 11...no nothing just a restaurant, beach and basically that was it! We soon settled in...pitched up our spot on the beach just relaxed, read our books and didnt do much else.... Our bungalow had its own porch and we had our own hammock...a couple of chairs so could just sit out and relax..Paul said it was much like camping just sitting out and chilling which we did all to well for a couple of days!
We decicided to rent a moped and go the the busier part of the island which is Haad Rin we got there after quite a journey and it was very nice, bit more busier as we expected, had a bank, bakery, seven 11 just about everything really, spent the day there looked around had some lunch then started to amke our way back, no sooner had we got on the bike set off, then what would you know a storm hit us...driving along these roads..these sandy roads come to that..i couldnt see a thing so god knows how Paul managed..but we made our way to the ferry terminal booked our ferry tickets to take us to Koh Samui the day after next and headed back to Maehaad! Made it....!!!!
Today has been the nicest day yet..we just sat on the beach all day read our books...Paul did some snorkelling and i basically just soaked up the rays..probs gonna come home with a face like an old leather hand bag!!!
Ferry booked tomorrow...1hr long again..to take us to koh samui..Fingers crossed its calm!
