Bangkok (central Thailand)

Hello

Made it here, just! On the airport had a bit of a disaster first of all thought we would just have a potter around as we had time to spare, thought i would have a squirt of some perfume in the duty free, had a squirt liked it, then saw a little bottle which i thought i might treat myself to..tried to pull the bottle out of the box and broke it, the perfume ran down my arm all over my hand and on the floor, i quickly put it back in the box and scurried off to find Paul, told him what id done and we left quickly! Along the way was a little accessorie shop, saw thought we'd have a look in..i was twizling this little stand around seeing what was on it, when it nearly toppled over on to a women walking past, so again give up on that and walked on, as if that wasnt bad enough just about to board the plane when my bag got pulled to one side..a guard came over searched my bag and said there was a leatherman init, i said no there isnt i havnt got one, next thing he pulled out my fold away knife fork and spoon set..couldnt beleive it was so embarresed, anyway it soon got sorted and we was able to board without my cuttlery!

Staying in a area called Khao San Rd..took us a while to find a decent hotel but managed in the end. The area here is very busy but in a good way..there isnt roads full of motorbikes like Vietnam there is just roads full of rows and rows of stalls selling the exact same as the last, anything! We had a wonder around yesterday purchased a couple of items watched a film in a bar and then watched the football later on! We will hopefully be going to the tiger temple tomorrow and the crocodile park! Weather here isnt great was raining pretty hard yest but so far still fine today! Today we have been and sorted another overnight train to take us to Chang Mai on Tuesday night!
