Morere NZ (north island)

We arrived in this little tiny village, not much here a little cafe, backpackers and the hot springs!!! We stayed in a backpackers which was ok? We went to the hot springs in the afternoon, unfortunately it was a Saturday afternoon and was full of all the local kids, so it was a bit busy to say the least! The pools were ok, they was hot mineral pools, they had quite a few scattered around, but we choose the indoor one! (it was cold outside) We was in for a while, well 30mins or so then Paul started to feel a bit queasy when he saw a piece of skin float past him, so we got out!!
We decided to have a drive around Mahia peninsula, it was so beautiful, the views were just amazing..nothing around just a few houses spotted here and there, but it was great!
We also met a couple of German girls back at the hostel and introduced them to yahtzee, there was no heat at the backpackers so it was hot chocolate all round and quick fire rounds of Yahtzee!!!
