Koh Phi Phi (southern Thailand)

Woke up bright and early ready for collection at 8am..nipped to seven 11 for some breckie, Paul had usual on these sort of days carrot cake bread slices and bannana cake (seriously cannot believe how much bannana cake we have eaten whilst we have been away)! Taxi/bus/giant tuk tuk came to pick us up, luckily we was first to be picked up by then end of doing the rounds people was sat on the roof and all sorts! Arrived Au nang and boarded the speed boat to bamboo Island. The ride was not smooth at all the it was so rough, we just kept crashing into the waves, it was like been on a rollercoaster, god knows why but i didnt even get sea sick..one poor women hurt her neck and this other women was sick! We arrived Bamboo island and it was really lovely just as nice as anywhere else we have been, current was fairly strong so couldnt really swim much and couldnt snorkel, still had a paddle though and of course got the beach towel out for a spot of sunbathing! We then boarded the speed boat again and just went round some of the little islands, we were able to get off and do some snorkeling,swimming or just laze about on the boat!
We went to the viking cave...(see picture) locals actually live there!!! We also visited Monkey Island (no monkeys to be seen though) and we went to Phi Phi Don and had some lunch there. Phi Phi don is the main resort where holidaymakers come, to be honest didnt really rate it..not much of a beach there..its really tiny and just cramed pack full of shops,hotels,bars everything!
Its our last night tonight in Thailand, we have to be out by tomorrow or else we will get fined..so we have arranged to be collected by mini van at 06.40 to take us to Had Yai which is another 4hrs away then we will have to sort out getting another bus to take us to Ipoh (Malaysia) then we are home safe! Plan is to go up to Cameron Highlands stay there for a while then make our way down to Kuala Lumpur!
