Koh Samui to Surat Thani (southern Thailand)

Decided against staying another night in Koh Samui, got up next day and got a taxi to Nathon, we then had to get the ferry across to Surat Thani and then board a bus to get into the town! We arrived in the town center, bit of dump really. Booked into a hotel, wernt that impressive either but cheap! Had a wonder round tried to find bus station so we could arrange our transport to take us to Phuket Mon,no bus station to be found, spoke to a tour company and they said we just have to be at the bus stop for 7am and we can get bus from there?? Apart from that not much happening in Surat Thani only just managed to find somewhere decent to eat, wanted some fruit and stuff to take on the coach trip with us as it is 6hrs long..found a couple of decent apples, some fruit bread, bannana cakes but just couldnt find any decent bannanas they where either brown and dented or green and i like my bannanas just inbetween so didnt bother!
Didnt get much sleep, decided to have early night as we had to be up early but we just got giggles then couldnt sleep, Paul decided to read and i just figited around, got bit on my ear of some sort of bug and Pual was itching all over to, was horrible..in the end Paul decided to get his racket out ha ha...its not what ur thinking either he has got a racket that electrifies all bugs...its great really..there he was in his boxes swinging this racket around trying to get anything he could..it was so funny, but suppose you had to be there!
Finally morning came, made it to the bus stop boarded the bus and that was it Phuket here we come!
