Christmas Time!!!

Christmas eve was excellent....me and Kate went out shopping for christmas dinner!!!! We found these great little trolleys that we could maneuver quite well...it was hilarious..think we was just very giddy and hungover from night before!! Also had a little treat for our efforts as shopping for xmas food was hard work...the selection of festive foods was non existent!!! While we was out putting the foot work in, Paul & Rick went to meet Nigel and took him off to the pub...surprise, surprise!!!
We went for our free roast, it was ok...not much of it but was still a nice change..not sure if it just tasted nice cause it was free???? We had a great night though....haz & JJ came with some of there mates we had such a laugh..it was really good..!! Think you can see that from the pics though!! To top the night off we hit the Kebab shop..!!
Christmas day was well, different!! Everywhere was still busy shops open traffic all over...just not like christmas atall..was a bit disappointed but hey ho..all new experiences!!! We hit a cafe..fry ups all round and we lit our snowman candle, just to make it feel more xmassey!! We then hit the beach..of course Bondi!!! Was so weird watching santa jet ski??? Everyone lieing around with Bikinis on and christmas hats??? Horses walking by with antlers on?? Definitely a memorable experience?? Funnily enough we didn't even have a drink, well alcoholic drink that is all christmas....??? We was so hungover just couldn't even go there!!!
Boxing day, we went to watch the Sydney to Hobart boat race...got a good spot managed to get a good view....! In the evening everyone was still knackered, esp since we had been up since 7am....yeh thanks Nigel ha ha ha.....(he got the time wrong)..its was actually 1300!!!! But anyhow...the cards came out and it was shit head all the way!!
We have spent a lot of time deciding what and what not to do....but thankfully have managed to make some decisions and get everyone organised!!!! We managed to get to Manley beach for one afternoon....although nearly never made it with the ferry and everything..its kaos here...too too many people everywhere...buses are always full have had to stand all the time and nearly had to stand on ferry!!!
We Went up the Pilon of the Sydney harbour bridge, got great views of all the harbour and lots of info regarding how it was built etc..we have also had a tour of the opera house, was really good although the tour guide reminded me of Dame Edna?? We sat in the concert hall and the theatre hall...was asked if we would like to sing in the concert hall, not sure if jingle bells would of gone down well, so thought best not!!
That evening decided we would hit the town again...well it was free drinks 9pm - 10pm...in the gaff..so we was there...rick took part (was forced) in one of the competition, unfortunately it didnt happen and he came 2nd!!..Was a bit of a messy night, well for a change..Nigel party animal wanted to stay out all night wasnt happy with 2:30..??
Last night we went out met up with Harry and JJ, well we actually gate crashed a lads birthday party..no-body new him only Tom..it was down at the Opera house, very nice...i wasnt drinking...yes you heard right...im poorly...can barely speak and well got a cold think this wk has took its toll ha ha!!!
