Omapere NZ (north island)

The weather hadn't improved but thankfully the hostel had, it was a really nice place with a batch of Christmas cd's that i just couldn't help putting on ha ha!!! Not a very busy town but a nice one with a lovely beach, would of been a good place to go and spend the day but again with the rain couldn't do much!!! We basically spent our time listening to music, reading our books and chatting to a few very nice people!!!
Everyone told us "oh you must go to the northlands, they are amazing" to be honest we haven't rated them that much, not sure if its because the weather hasn't been 100% but we expected it to be a little like the east coast and it isn't so a bit disappointed and looking forward to getting to Auckland!!
