Taupo NZ (north island)

The main reason we came to Taupo is for the sky dive and luckily enough we got great weather and Paul has today sky dived from 12,000 ft and had 45secs of freefall that took him down to 5000 ft then the parachute opened!! That's when the fun also started for me...i was there happily clicking away with the camera when i noticed something didn't quite look right as he was coming in, he was just hanging there lifeless, everyone else was laughing shouting and well, happy and i couldn't even see Pauls face, he had passed out at 2000 ft, the straps of the harness was tight and this slowed the blood to his head and caused him to pass out apparently it happens a few times?? I was so scared, they got him down and all i could see was them putting him in the recovery position and then someone came running over..i was literally shaking like a leaf, didn't know what had happened, i felt sick. When i went over to him he had come to but he was as white as a ghost and not very steady! He had been out for a couple of minutes so didn't miss much just the landing! He loved it though, that much he is going up again tomorrow....only joking!!!!!
We did go out last night for a few drinks, to calm the nerves!! Not sure if that was a good idea now, as the few drinks turned into an all night sesh and neither of us can remember coming home, woke up this am to Paul being sick and cheese and biscuits all over the floor, we must of been hungry when we got in???
So yeh, we have been very busy here, the weather has been great..its boiling today! Yesterday when we arrived we went to Huka falls and did a short walk round to Craters of the moon, to be honest they wasn't that great, a bit of a disappointment, well think they would be in comparison to White Island!!
Quiet night for us tonight, dinner than bed i think..cant cope with all this excitement!
