Rockhampton (Queensland)

We decided to stay at Rockhampton as we wanted to break the bus journey up and to be honest there isnt much going on in the town anyway so we decided it wasnt worth us staying there for any length of time! We arrived at around 18.15 and we had already arranged to stay at a hostel for the night! We got collected and took to the hostel, was dreading it a little bit as it was cheap and we expected the worst! However, it was the complete opposite, it was very nice and clean, which is the main thing, we had our own room and there was also a lovely big lounge area and a great kitchen not to mention the bar downstairs! Unfortunately we was knackered and had to be up early at 5am next day to get the bus and carry on our joruney to Hervey Bay! So it was an early night!
